Your privacy matters. We built DoomsdayWatch with a privacy-first approach.

Data Sources
All asteroid data displayed on DoomsdayWatch comes from NASA's Near Earth Object Web Service (NeoWs) API. This is publicly available data. We simply fetch and display it - we don't store it on our servers.
Local Storage
We use your browser's localStorage to remember if you've dismissed the cookie banner. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
We use the following external services:
- NASA API: To fetch asteroid data (no personal data shared)
- OpenRouter API: To generate AI messages (no personal data shared)
These services receive only the technical requests necessary to function. No personal data is transmitted.
